Terms & conditions
Last updated: 12 May 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how Flock works and the conditions for using the Service. By accessing or using Flock, you agree to the following Terms.
About Flock
Flock helps people discover communities, groups, clubs, and events by curating information that is publicly available online. We do not run, manage, or supervise these communities; we simply help people find them. Some features of Flock may require a paid subscription.
Membership and billing
Subscriptions, payments, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are processed through our payment provider. By subscribing, you agree to the payment provider’s terms of sale and billing.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Flock cannot cancel memberships or process refunds manually.
Curation standards
Flock curates communities based on internal criteria to ensure a positive and relevant experience for users. These criteria include things like:
- regular activity or events
- member participation
- shared interests or purpose
- a welcoming, safe environment
Flock has full discretion over which communities are included, updated, or removed; and submitting a community does not guarantee its inclusion.
Use of public information and listings
Flock displays information, images, descriptions, and event details that communities have already made publicly available on their websites or social profiles. All such content remains the property of the original owners. Flock does not publish private or restricted information.
Removal or update requests
If you run a community and would like your listing updated or removed, email hello@findyourflock.co and we’ll make sure to take care of it within a reasonable timeframe.
Third place owner terms
If you list your venue on Flock as a third place owner or operator, the following terms apply when you tick the agreement checkbox on the listing form.
Revenue share, after your first three bookings. Your first three Flock-attributed bookings are on us. From your fourth Flock-attributed booking onwards, you agree to share 10% of the booking revenue from those subsequent bookings with Flock.
What counts as a Flock-attributed booking. Any event hosted at your venue by a community that is listed on Flock. We detect these automatically by cross-referencing public community event pages against your venue name, and you can always confirm or dispute any detection before it counts toward the threshold.
Invoicing. Once you have crossed the three-booking threshold, we will send you a monthly invoice covering the 10% revenue share on any qualifying bookings from that month. We do not invoice for the first three bookings, and we do not invoice in months where there are no new Flock-attributed bookings beyond the threshold.
Listing control. You can hide or remove your listing at any time, either by emailing hello@findyourflock.co or via your Flock account if you have one. Listing on Flock does not require any form of exclusivity.
Authority to list. By submitting a venue as your own space, you confirm that you either own the space, operate it, or have permission from someone who does.
Use of listing content. You confirm that you have the right to share any photos, descriptions, or other details you provide on the listing form, and you grant Flock a non-exclusive licence to display them on the Flock website and in associated marketing and email communications.
User responsibilities and third-party interactions
Flock provides pathways to third-party communities that operate independently from us. We do not supervise their activities and are not responsible for:
- schedule or event changes
- cancellations
- organiser or participant behaviour
- community policies or safety practices
- the accuracy or timeliness of their information
Your interactions, participation, and experiences with any third-party community or organiser are entirely your responsibility.
Liability and disclaimer
Flock curates publicly available information to help people discover communities and events happening around them. While we do our best to feature active and welcoming communities, listings are not endorsements, and we cannot guarantee the safety, suitability, accuracy, or quality of any third-party community, organiser, or event.
Flock does not provide professional, legal, medical, safety, wellbeing, or mental health advice. All information is general in nature and should not be treated as guidance or assurance. Your participation in any third-party community or activity is entirely your choice.
Flock is not responsible for any changes, issues, interactions, or experiences that occur within external communities, and we are not liable for any loss, injury, or harm arising from your participation or reliance on information provided through the Service.
Affiliate program
Flock may offer an affiliate or referral program that allows users to earn commission for successful referrals. Flock may update, pause, or discontinue the affiliate program at any time.
Intellectual property and use of the service
All original content on Flock; including the design, layout, branding, writing, and curation; is owned by Flock and protected by intellectual property laws.
To protect the integrity of the platform, users may not:
- scrape or automate the extraction of Flock’s data
- republish, copy, or redistribute Flock’s listings or database
- impersonate Flock or misrepresent affiliation
- use Flock’s content or data to create or support competing services
Any unauthorised use may result in removal of access or further action.
Changes to the service or terms
Flock is always evolving. We may update the platform, modify features, or remove listings at any time. We may also update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of Flock means you accept the latest version.
