Community is a cure
You've likely heard that birds of a feather flock together 🪶
Birds fly in flocks because they're stronger as a collective. In the same way, people need people. We are meant to gather around our shared interests, values, goals, and humanity (more about this here).
Community is an antidote to disconnection. We need it not only for our quality of life, but for our mental and physical health.
Want to be creative? Conscious? In nature? Starting a business? This space is for finding people who do too – whether you're at home, or somewhere else in the world.

Humans need humans
In our Western world, it's easy to feel lonely and disconnected – but human connection shouldn’t be hard to come across.
Flock is trying to solve this. It started as a simple spreadsheet that helped me to connect with great, likeminded people while travelling.
Travelling can be lonely at times, because you're completely removed from your support system.
But equally, being at home can be lonely – because our society isn't set up for community living. We have busy lives, often live far away from each other, and don't always have the time or energy to find and meet likeminded people.
So I spent the past two years finding, visiting, living in and learning from communities around the world.
Here were just a few of my favourites:
As I have discovered these spaces, I added them to a list and tried many of them out.
Doing this both while travelling, and while back at home in Australia, has significantly improved my life – introducing me to so many likeminded humans who have turned into friends.
